Hi, my name is Styles Shortridge. I come from San Clemente, CA. I study electrical engineering which allows me to engage in topics in RF, DSP, ML, optical engineering, and wireless communications. I feel fortunate that my major allows me to explore a diverse range of topics.

Electrical engineering plays a critical role in today's information-centric economy. As the number of sensors and data processors continue to grow, so will the volume of data moving through the world. And while this growth is often credited to the computer sciences, it depends entirely on EE for the transmission, reception, low-level processing and conversion of that information in the physical layer. Odd as it sounds, I find that reassuring that the world will always need electrical engineers.

I hope to one day work on RF integrated circuit design, with potential applications in radar and communications. I'm also interested in mixed-signal IC design for analog-to-digital conversion.

My favorite video games are the Witcher 3 and Escape from Tarkov. I'm learning to surf and play the electric guitar. I like the Pixies.
